I'm not sure if the Ponseti Method was ever used but I did my leg turned in from the hip and my foot turned in even further. Back then, they used a boot type cast and then I had surgery at 5 yrs. old.

Have never been able to wear heels but find that wedged shoes or square block type heeled shoes are more comfortable than flat shoes. My arches are very high. My toes are mis-aligned and my right calf is thinner. I limp a little when I'm a tired and know that it's better to keep my weight down.BUT! No complaints.

Parents, keep up a bright outlook. If your child's condition is one where the Ponseti Method can be applied, by all means I believe it would be worth it.
The younger the better!

my doughter was born with a right clubfoot . she is now 5 years old .it is on going problem .i know what you have been through
